Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things providers usually want to know.

If your question is not covered here, book the free consultation and talk it through properly.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. Every new enquiry starts with a free 30-minute consultation so the issue can be scoped properly before any paid work is agreed.

Do you work evenings or weekends?

Yes. Evening and weekend sessions are available where needed, at no additional cost.

How do bookings work?

After the consultation, if you want to proceed, the service, fee and timescale are agreed in writing. Booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed.

Can you work remotely?

Yes. The service is built around virtual delivery, which makes it quicker and more cost-effective for most providers.

What information do you need?

Usually anonymised ABC charts, incident details and relevant background information that helps make sense of the behaviour.

Can we send identifiable documents?

No, not routinely. Information should be anonymised before it is sent, unless something different has been explicitly agreed in advance.

How quickly can you start?

In most cases, support can begin within a few days to two weeks depending on availability and urgency. High-pressure situations are prioritised where possible.

What outcomes can we realistically expect?

Most services see improved staff confidence, clearer care planning, and a reduction in incidents when recommendations are implemented consistently.

Frequently asked questions and support guidance

Do you provide emergency response?

No. This is consultancy and training support, not an emergency clinical service.

Do you prescribe or advise on medication?

No. Clinical decision-making and medication remain the responsibility of the client and relevant healthcare professionals.

Can training be tailored?

Yes. Training can be shaped around managers, seniors, wider staff groups and the practical issues most relevant to your service.

What level of input do you need from us?

The quality of outcomes depends on the quality and consistency of information provided. Clear ABC data and staff insight allow for more accurate formulation and practical guidance. Where information is limited, recommendations will be more general.

What happens if we cancel?

More than 28 days' notice, no cancellation fee. Between 14 and 28 days, 50% may be retained or charged. Within 14 days, 100% may be retained or charged.
